Old Estate Brick Patio
Blending classic elegance with practical luxury, this outdoor transformation extends the charm of an old English cottage into the garden with a large, “old money” brick patio.
Designed For Friends And Family
We love our friends and family, so we designed the space to be used for entertaining, including the outdoor kitchen.
Designed with heritage and hospitality in mind, the space features a relaxed lounge area perfect for long summer evenings, a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen for al fresco dining, and a thoughtfully planned footprint for a future gazebo to complete the vision.
Planning Ahead For A Gazebo
It rains a lot where we live. A LOT! So no outdoor space would be complete without a covered space to enjoy those rainy days. We designed the patio to include a 20’ gazebo.
Created in a yard that had been left barren and battered by the major renovations required to move in, the patio brings beauty and purpose back to the landscape.
The Yard Needed Some TLC
There was so much potential in the yard, but due to years of neglect and the extensive renovations needed before we moved in, we knew it would need a lot of work
Every element—from the herringbone brickwork to the aged limestone accents—was chosen to feel as though it’s always been there, complementing the cottage’s history while creating new space for family gatherings, quiet mornings, and garden parties alike. This patio isn’t just an addition—it’s an invitation to slow down and stay awhile.
